For the first time ever an ozone hole has developed over the Arctic. It’s taken scientists this long to analyze the data but about 13 miles up from the surface a hole developed this past winter like the ozone hole over the Antarctic. CFCs (Chroloflurocarbons) destroy the ozone, the ozone layer cools, more stratospheric clouds form & ozone destruction is much more efficient in the clouds…speeding up the proccess.
