Dear Daniel:

In recent days Ameren has began a campaign in support of establishing new rules that allow the Missouri Public Service Commission (PSC) to conduct meetings behind closed doors.  Which leaves one to wonder what does Ameren what to hide.

The PSC works for the public, but Ameren is trying to restrict public knowledge by suggesting they make decisions without the public knowing how they came to a conclusion.  Ameren is the only company that has publicly supported the proposed change.  This is the same company that just notified the PSC in the middle of the holiday season it is going to seek another rate increase.

Is there something that Ameren does not want the public to know about?  If the answer is no, then why are they in favor of having private meetings about public matters?

Click here to let the PSC know having meetings behind closed doors to talk about our money is not right.  Then forward this message to your friends and family by clicking here so that they contact the PSC as well.

Sincerely,

The FERAF Team
